Day Twenty Five - Amanda Wilson

Hi my name is Amanda Wilson and I live in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

I am a photographer/mixed media artist.

I try to capture and create extraordinary images from seemingly ordinary moments in time - the way light falls - a shape - patterns - textures - shadows - nature and humanity - an idea - an atmosphere or mood.

My hope is the viewer also experiences the extraordinary within that captured moment.

The majority of the church dates from the 14th century and it once sported a fine, round Norman tower, which unfortunately collapsed in 1991. In the 1860s the building underwent extensive restoration by local architect, Richard Phipson, who also carried work out at All Saints, Horstead.
